Eternal Families

Today we celebrated what we like to call Alex's "Family Birthday." Each year in addition to celebrating the day our kids were born, their obvious birthdays, we also celebrate the day they were sealed to us in the temple after their adoptions were finalized. Alex was sealed to us last June 7. Since that is Sunday and Greg has to work tomorrow and not today, we decided to celebrate today. On their "family birthday", we usually let the one we're honoring choose the family activity, but since Alex is only 18 months old we chose for him.

There is an aquarium here in Utah and that seemed the place to be. Both boys and Mom and Dad had a blast! We took lots of pics, but I'm all tuckered out so I'll post those later. Alex and Sean both seemed to enjoy the sharks the most. Mom's favorite were the stingrays, she got to pet them. Dad's favorite was either the giant octopus - he was pretty awesome - or maybe the giant lobster. He was huge!

We are so thankful for Alex and the wonderful addition he is to our family! To end the day we drove by the Bountiful temple and talked about what it was like to go last year. We think Sean remembers it pretty well, if not there are our pics. In fact, the picture at the top of our page is outside the Salt Lake Temple just after our sealing. Pretty darn cool!

Haha! I love that picture of baby brother. I actually need a picture of each to hang in my new home. One of baby brother and one of handsome boy please. Or one of them together will do. Chop, chop.
